Tao Zhang

Tao Zhang is the Managing Partner of Hualu Capital, with a particular focus on growth fund management and M&A buyout management in high technologies, TMT, fin-tech, and advanced manufacturing. Mr. Zhang has over 20 years of investment banking experience, bringing a wealth of cross-border merger and acquisition as well as domestic and foreign IPO experience. Mr. Zhang began his investment career as the Executive General Manager of the IBD and the Head of Technology Team at Bank of China International Securities. He then joined Credit Suisse Founder Securities, where he was a Managing Director in the IBD. Later, he served as the General Manager of the IBD of Huarong Securities. Mr. Zhang received a bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China and a master's degree from Tsinghua University. Mr. Zhang is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Yu Xue

Yu Xue is a Partner of Hualu Capital, with main responsibilities for business developments and executions in private equity investments and M&A financing services. Mr. Xue has over 7 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. Prior to joining Hualu Capital, he worked as the Head of Financing for a technology start-up as well as a number of investment banks. Mr. Xue has a doctoral study in the University of Oxford, a master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a master’s degree from the University of Warwick.

Hao Yu

Hao Yu is a Partner of Hualu Capital. Before joining Hualu Capital, Mr. Yu worked in the investment banking division at Credit Suisse in London and Credit Suisse Founder Securities in China. Later, he joined RenRen where he was a Director in Strategic Development. He then served as an Investment Director at Jingdong Strategic Investment Department before becoming a founding partner of a well-known private equity firm. Mr. Yu received a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University and a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago.

Hongjie Yu

HongJie Yu is the Chief Legal Officer of Hualu Capital, with responsibility in legal and compliance matters. Ms. Yu holds a law degree from The China University of Political Science and Law and a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
